Who are we?
The American Water Works Association at UCLA (AWWA at UCLA) is a student run club part of the California-Nevada Section that focuses on developing young professionals in the fields of environmental and water resources engineering. The organization will provide information sessions on different topics in engineering principles and public/private engineering firms, inform members about research opportunities, host field trips, create social functions, and invite speakers. As water is an interdisciplinary issue involving not only engineering, but also environmental science, policy, and management, this club will be open to all majors with diverse backgrounds and academic standings. Our passion is to support the drinking water professionals that provide water to millions of people throughout the city of Los Angeles and California, as a whole.
